SEF’s agenda is jam-packed with compelling sessions. One of the sessions we sat down for was “Tough Times, Strong Leaders: Leadership Principles for Uncertain Times”. Here are some of the many takeaways from the esteemed speakers.
• Don’t shy away from making decisions, and own your decisions;
• There are no inherently wrong decisions, but some may lead to unfavourable outcomes. Acknowledge that what seemed right at the time was based on your knowledge then, and that’s okay. Embrace the lessons, and keep moving forward;
• Always prepare for the worst-case scenario, and celebrate when it doesn’t get there;
• Taking risk is part of our lives;
• Don’t be afraid to fail. Keep trying and you’ll eventually succeed.
