We are seeking a skilled and experienced Family Office Accountant with a strong background in investment management finance/accounting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial accounting and reporting within the investment management, combined with a passion for data management as this role will be pivotal in continuing to enhance Finance processes, improving financial reporting depth and efficiency, and integrating technology solutions.
This role will be responsible for all areas relating to financial accounting and reporting within the family office, including developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for the family office.
This position is for those who enjoy working a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, processing and maintaining accounts payable transactions, oversee cash management, financial consolidation and reporting, filings, and support of other family office tasks.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA/CA or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant in a Family Office or Investment Office
- Based in Dubai
- Open to candidates based in Cyprus, London and Europe
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
